Sculptor; Dennis, Mass. Born in Delemont, Switzerland. In 1914, Geissbuhler traveled to Zurich to become a sculptor's apprentice in the studio of Otto Munch. He attended the Kunst Gewerbe School and worked as Munch's assistant until 1919. In that year, Geissbuhler went to Paris to study with Antoine Bourdelle at the Academie Julian. Charles Grafley was a sculptor and a teacher. Born in Philadelphia in 1862, he began working as a stone carver at the age of 17. He attended night classes in art at the Spring Garden Institute and in 1884 entered the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, where he studied with Thomas Eakins.
